History

Our message to you is that we are an ethical, family business that cares about each customer!

Since 1972, we have been supplying coins and jewelry to the public via trade shows, mail order, and personal customer contact.

Our best advertisement is word of mouth praise from satisfied customers. We like to say our best product is the one we charge the least for...our service.

We operate under the belief that if you give the customer what they want, when they want it, at a decent price that they will return and will bring their family and friends...and this is what happens with our business.

In the beginning, it was mimeo and hand written newsletters, hand stamped and mailed out. Today, the computer adds a great deal to the effort to keep our customers informed, but it is still a personal task to keep customers informed of sales and deals that may be of benefit to them and to provide them with products and services they want and need.

In the last ten years or so, a larger part of the business has been to supply future brides and grooms with wedding needs ranging from the engagement rings to the items they look for to enrich the ceremony, the rehearsal dinner and other events associated with the wedding event. We provide items ranging from center pieces to ring pillows and have a range of items to be used for bridesmaid's and groomsmen's gifts.

Location

We are located on the East Coast, specifically the Eastern Shore of Maryland in the small town of Berlin, the town where the films "Runaway Bride" and " Tuck Everlasting" were filmed. Hours are by appointment and we welcome you if you happen to be in the area.

Particulars

We are not publicly traded, we are not incorporated, we do not dodge bill collectors and we do not try to pull anything over on you. We do have an outstanding reputation with our bank and our vendors, we do have repeat customers who have dealt with us for years and who send us their sons and daughters and family and friends as customers and we look upon each customer as someone special.

Inventory

Our supply of diamonds and diamond jewelry comes from the same vendors and suppliers that the best retail jewelry stores use. We are listed with the Jeweler's Board of Trade if you need references and we can supply you with high grade diamonds certified by the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) or other certification services of your choice.

Our gold suppliers are members of the GIA and the JVC, the Jeweler's Vigilance Committee and supply us with properly karated and hallmarked, quality jewelry, all guaranteed to be as represented. Some of our chain suppliers stand behind their product by offering a Lifetime Warranty for many basic styles.

Coins we sell meet or exceed the Photograde standards and many are certified by either PCGS or NGC or ANACS certification services. All carry warranties as far as being genuine. We would never knowingly sell a counterfeit coin, but since there are many out there, we suggest certification for expensive and key date coins.

While we cannot stock every item that is shown on the website, we try to maintain nearly all of the items for immediate delivery, but may have to back order some. And if you do not see it one the web, that does not mean we do not have it or can not get it.

We do not want to be the largest dealer you buy from. We feel we may lose the ability to have that personal touch if we would be that. But we do want to be the best dealer you buy from, that would make us much happier.
